As HBO’s critically acclaimed Silicon Valley continues it’s skewering of the eponymous tech scene in Season 4, you can catch Tim as “Ed Chen” – venture capitalist and rising star at Raviga Capital Management. Ed Chen is best described as corporate kiss-ass and frat-bro who becomes a snarky rival to a beset Monica (played by Amanda Crew).  As the season progresses, Chen goes from minor annoyance to aggressive player looking to shake up an already shaken community in the aftermath of Gavin Belson’s departure from Hooli.
